Recreational facilities

It is quite normal for Herzogenaurach's families to have recreational facilities in their neighbourhood. More than 30 playgrounds, 10 football areas and 7 basketball fields can be used in Herzogenaurach and are maintained by the town administration. Moreover, there is a dirt track and a beach volleyball field.
The skateboard and inline skating park with its half pipes, various ramps and a BMX track suitable for contests is a popular meeting point for youngsters.
