3rd Festival Day program

29th September already is the last day of hin&herzo – the Cultural Festival. Nevertheless, the program for this day is, of course, as diverse and fantastic as the days before. You might want to visit the water café in the Discovery Area, be curious about the shadow theater Moving Shadows, and experience an evening full of magic with Christoph Kuch.

Matinée with Dr. Wilfried Schupp and Prof. Dr. Thomas Junker

Two well-versed experts, two lectures, a drink and a discussion with the audience, moderated by the linguistic artist Michael Jakob: These are the ingredients for our midmorning matinée dealing with neurology and imagination. Prof. Dr. Thomas Junker is a professor for the history of bioscience at the University of Tuebingen and, based on his book “Evolution of Imagination”, he will talk about how humans have become artists. Dr. Wilfried Schupp is the head physician of the Department of Neurology at the m&i specialist hospital in Herzogenaurach. Additionally, he teaches and carries out researches at the University of Erlangen and with his lecture invites the audience to learn more about the findings of neurology and neuropsychology: for example how our brain learns and how it manages to reorganize itself after a stroke.

Shadow theater with "Die Mobilés": »Moving Shadows«

Award-winning shadow theater: “Moving Shadows” makes shadows become alive. In a poetic, flowing, filigree way the story of a journey around the world and the dreamworld of Hollywood is told. Colors, forms, space, sound and movement create the illusion of animals, landscapes and buildings. “Die Mobilés”, winners of the French “Supertalentes”, have already thrilled the audience of the world’s biggest comedy festival in Montreal.
Vereinshaus, 7.00 pm

Magic with Christoph Kuch: »I know.«

“I know.” is the title of Christoph Kuch’s show – and the name says it all since the mental magician makes the thoughts of his audience become alive during his show and dives into their dreams, in short: he knows what they think. Yet, whatever we think we know, he proofs nonsense. The “Winner of the World Championships of Mental Magic” has already stunned an audience worldwide. Balancing on the edges between imagination and reality, Christoph Kuch presents emotional, charming and humorous high-level entertainment.
