Sunday, September 26

September 26 already is the last hin&herzo Culture Festival day. Of course this doesn’t mean that the program is any less varied or filled with luck and happiness. On Sunday, everything is about the combination of happiness and music. Look forward to a Boogie Trio, a Franconian singer-songwriter and a world-wide popular percussionist.

CONCERT READING: JENS WIMMERS BOOGIE TRIO »LINJI’S WAY TO HAPPINESS«

©StoehrWhoever thinks you need to have luck to find happiness can find new ways with Jens Wimmer’s book. The graduated philosopher from Forchheim does not see feelings and rationality as a contradiction but as partners of happiness when interpreting Master Linji’s teachings of mindfulness: Happiness is the result of mindfully experiencing a sensible life. This way, meaningfulness results in happiness and happiness results in meaningfulness. We can also experience what happiness feels like when the philosopher becomes a pianist accompanied by Alex Spengler (bass) and Flo Fischer (drums). Now you already know three keys to happiness: Mindfulness, meaningfulness - and music!

CONCERT READING: QUINT BUCHHOLZ & BAND »ABOUT SLOWNESS AS SOURCE OF HAPPINESS«

©Quint BuchholzThe painter and illustrator Quint Buchholz reads from his illustrated book. Texts from different centuries with pictures by Quint Buchholz are an invitation to feel the happiness of the moment. Less quiet but likewise touching are the musical interpretations of well-known songs and own compositions by Anna Rehker and Juli Linden. They will be the framework for the words and form a mélange when whispered texts slip into their sounds.
