2nd Festival Day program

What’s going on in the Herzogenaurach town center on the 2nd day of hin&herzo - the Cultural Festival? There will be imaginative things to experience for every taste and every age. Look forward to experiencing Rufus Beck, Coby Grant and many other great artists at the hin&herzo Discovery Area on 28th September.

Reading with Rufus Beck: “The Journey to the Moon” based on the novel by Jules Verne

There is a saying that everything that can be imagined can also be done. Already in 1865, the French author Jules Verne published his fictional story about the first mission to the moon in his book “From the Earth to the Moon”. The exciting thing about it: In this book, Verne foresaw many details of the actual first mission to the moon taking place almost 100 years later. With his entertaining reading, Rufus Beck will make the story come alive in Herzogenaurach.
For this purpose, the popular actor and speaker will slip into the different roles of the characters involved in the incredible, yet surprisingly realistic story about Canon Club President Barbicane, Captain Nicoll and Michel Ardan. The audience will learn about a seemingly absurd plan – born out of pure boredom – culminating in an actual journey to the moon. A speaker’s desk and some background music: That’s all Rufus Beck needs to take us all to a “Journey to the Moon”.
Protestant Church, 8.00 pm

Concert with Coby Grant: »Coby Grant - Imagination«

The Australian, and Franconian by choice, Coby Grant sings about her musical way to the place where imagination became reality. In 2018, she convinced the audience of the casting show “The Voice of Germany”. With “Imagination” she can touch our hearts, fire our imagination and take us on a journey. Coby’s music encourages us to make our dreams come true.
Kulturpavillon, 8.00 pm

Concert with 2Flügel: »Mental Cinema«

When two outstanding artists spread their wings and fire our imagination with their piano keys and their voices, the audience will experience a “Mental Cinema”. Christina Brudereck loves telling stories, Ben Seipel loves music. Together they make scenes, stories and songs become alive with their “Mental Cinema”.
