Ice skating ponds in Herzogenaurach

It is possible to use the following municipal ponds for ice skating at own risk:

Gilgenweiher, at the end of the Nutzungsstraße
Wiwaweiher, at the beginning of the Nutzungsstraße
Pond at the Weihersbach, Ansbacher Straße (near parking area at the Dohnwald forest)
Pond in Hauptendorf, Erlenstraße

The Town of Herzogenaurach explicitly advice to not step on icy surfaces as long as there is no sustainable ice layer. An ice layer can only carry persons if it is at least 15 cm thick. The Town of Herzogenaurach does not assume any liabilites in case of accidents.
