Christmas Market

The scent of mulled wine and Christmas lights everywhere, gingerbread men and Christmas tree decorations – the local Christmas market makes you feel all kinds of pre Christmas feelings. Welcome to our Christmas market from December 5th to 8th, 2024.

Beautifully decorated stalls, that sell Christmassy presents and things which will light up your house with the Christmas spirit, can be found in the city centre of Herzogenaurach on the second weekend of December along with many people searching for that special Christmas feeling/something. Be curious!

After-Work-Glühwein

It's already a tradition that the Herzogenaurach Christmas market starts on Thursday after work: this year, too, mulled wine will be served in steaming cups from 5 p.m. on 5 December and live music will set the mood for a wonderful Christmas market weekend in Herzogenaurach's town centre.

Children's and family program

During the Christmas market, the Generation Centre's winter workshop will be open again. On 7 and 8 December from 13:00 to 18:00, children can make and craft whatever they like. All children are welcome.

If you would like to see the Christ Child, you should not miss the festive opening on 6 December at 6.00 pm: It will speak the prologue on the stage on the market square and open the Christmas market in Herzogenaurach together with 3rd Mayor Michael Dassler and the Stadtjugendkapelle.
