Welcome to the Old Town Festival
On the last weekend of the Whitsun holidays, conviviality meets club life at the Old Town Festival in Herzogenaurach town centre. From live music and guided tours of the town to a colourful children's programme, you can look forward to a fantastic line-up. Save the date: the next Old Town Festival will take place from 5 to 7 June 2026.
Every fortnight after Whitsun, Herzogenaurach town centre is transformed into a colourful open-air venue. Over three days, you can stroll through the city centre at various stands and discover what Herzogenaurach's clubs have to offer and how deeply rooted voluntary work is in the city. You can also experience the colourful culinary diversity that Herzogenaurach has to offer. Various bands and the town youth band provide a great atmosphere on the stages on the market square and in the castle courtyard.

On the occasion of the Old Town Festival, the shops in the entire city area will be open on 5 June 2026 from 13:00 to 18:00. Stroll through the streets and take advantage of the great offers. Take a look at our Tourist Info centre too!
